| Aculas Advanced Hair Loss Laser - LLLT Now with unique 100mW configuration and 5 powerful 20mW individual laser modules digitally scattered, no plastic mirrors or plastic fibre optics. Up to 100x more powerful than some brands, and 2-50x more powerful than most. More lasers and more real direct laser power per beam than any other brand. Ever wondered why some brands, even ones claiming to be the best, give no technical specifications, but lots of fancy marketing claims?

We proudly offer the most powerful home Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) laser to improve the cosmetic appearance of your hair, including fuller and thicker looking hair. Although some competitors are more interested in fancy designs, extensive marketing and advertising, we have concentrated on delivering the most powerful and effective home LLLT device available today. Our unique design offers more direct laser power than all other brands. While there are other brands and various home made products, none of which offer electrically safe (CE approved) power supplies nor use genuine laser diodes. Be caution of products containing only one laser that is reflected or split into less powerful beams. Many products claim to contain laser diodes but actually contain extremely low power Light Emitting Diodes or LEDs, the flashing lights found in children's toys. You must investigate the total laser power output, laser power per centimetre or inch and laser wavelength. Simply adding more low powered LEDs or low powered lasers is not the same as a high power per inch per individual laser. We have tested many other brands and power outputs and wavelengths are often NOT as described. Most other brands offer a MAXIMUM of 5mW per beam, our MINIMUM is now 20mW per beam. It is important to understand TOTAL LASER POWER and also the LASER POWER IN EACH INDIVIDUAL BEAM. Simply adding more 5mW lasers to achieve a higher power output, is NOT the same treatment as 20mW per beam. Even products with 50 or sometimes 100 "lasers" often use low powered LED reflectors, which are NOT genuine laser modules. Here are 3 ways to achieve 100mW, but only one allows 20mW per beam. Some brands claim to be 3x stronger, however stronger than what? Any device that includes LEDs and low powered infra red (invisible) modules has no medical backing or clinical study evidence to support their choice of technology, the internationally accepted wavelength for hair regrowth is between 625-660nm which is a RED and visible laser beam. The Aculas is microprocessor controlled, auto self test at power on, musical alarms and constant electronic monitoring performs an in depth system analysis before each use and during use. An inbuilt timer automatically and conveniently shuts off the unit after each session. An easy to read backlit LCD display keeps you fully informed of your session time and will alert you to any potential problems. Compare the specifications, consider the advantages and make an informed decision. Do not buy a laser hair comb until you have considered the revolutionary Aculas Cosmetic Hair Laser. Other units are cheaper for a reason, they may lack power and they may lack build quality.
From some suppliers, you will hear fantastic stories about NASA experiments, you will hear claims of being the very best product available and misleading comments about other product designs. We simply give you the most powerful computer controlled laser available, without the use of lens, LEDs, mirrors or other gimmicks. Ever wonder why most brands do not mention their LASER power output or laser power DENSITY? Infrared diodes are NOT laser modules. Some important points to consider when purchasing LLLT laser hair comb systems. Total Laser Power & Power Per Centimetre are different: Simply adding more 5mW laser modules to a basic design does not mean you have more powerful LLLT laser treatment, more modules may treat a larger area at one time, but the MAXIMUM laser power per treatment area is still only 5mW and in most cases much less. A simple analogy is to see further at night, you require a more powerful torch light, by using 2, 4 or ever 6 low powered torch lights side-by-side, you can not see further into the darkness. Similarly, adding more 5mW laser modules may exposure a larger area at one time but does not result in more powerful treatment. Only by using MULTIPLE & STRONGER laser modules do you receive more powerful treatment and deeper penetration by the laser light energy into your skin. Hair loss clinics and salons have been using canopy system use 20mW laser modules for totals of 100mW - 250mW for over 10 years, so laser power at these levels is accepted as both effective and safe and most effective. We have tested a range of laser modules and examined the depth of penetration using electron microscopes. 630-660nm laser circa 5mW penetrate part way to the root of the hair. 20mW laser modules penetrate below the hair follicle to stimulate the hair follicle ROOTS which extend below the base of the hair follicle. It is also interesting to note that some suppliers tout the benefits of other wave lengths at exceedingly higher strength's than their products actually contain, meaning examples of penetration and absorption are essentially irrelevant. For LLLT to be most successful, the laser energy must penetrate below the base of the hair follicle. Salons and hair restorations clinics know this and use similarly powered laser modules. From this evidence it is easy to see that Aculas Hair Laser offers salon strength treatment in the privacy and convenience of your own home.
Design of Laser Module: Basic laser modules are constructed with a barrel design, they are typically black and around 1" long cylinders. The light and radiation amplification is produced at one end of the barrel, and the laser beam is channelled through a series of focusing lens to ultimately emit a concentrated laser beam from the end of the plastic barrel. Very similar concept to how a telescope channels light through a long cylinder. They is essentially an analogue design. A newer concept in laser module design, is a digital and solid state laser scattering module. Electronic components within each laser module evenly disperse the laser energy. Laser scattering modules are easily identifiable as they are smaller and more solid than the older black plastic barrel designs used in most LLLT devices. Aculas Hair Laser is available with several configurations. Our first design contains 5 x 5mW @ 635nm lasers. Our newest product contains 5 x 20mW @ 660nm lasers. Any claim that a $100 "Laser Brush" uses the same components as Aculas Laser is absolutely FALSE and MISLEADING, this is clearly evident in the drastically different laser modules pictured above.
Quality of Laser Modules: There are medical quality laser modules (found in medical devices) and there are consumer quality laser modules (found in toys, video games, laser pointers etc.) There are also several grades of laser modules such as A-grade, B-grade, C-grade and D-grade. Over all performance, life time, consistency of power levels and consistency of wavelength are all key factors in determining the quality and grade of a laser module. Another less known difference in laser modules is what we call the "warm up factor." Some 5mW laser modules we have tested take between 10-15 minutes just to "warm up" and reach their peak power outputs. Meaning during the first 10-15 minutes of your 15 minute session with low grade 5mW laser modules you may be receiving much less than the advertised 5mW. Low grade laser modules also fluctuate in their wavelengths, meaning one batch may be 600nm and another 615nm and another 630nm. Unfortunately a key factor in determining laser module quality is simply cost. A-grade 5mW laser modules may cost 5-10x more than D-grade laser modules. One of our powerful 20mW laser modules may cost more than 50 low grade 5mW modules. We have no intention of ever delivering low powered and under performing laser devices. Work it out, a laser comb with 5 laser modules costing $50 complete? Some brands claim 5mW TOTAL laser power, but their laser diode is actually a MAXIMUM of 5mW and frequently test at only 1~2mW at best. The exposure area of a cheap barrel design laser module is extremely small, even using 20 or 50 spot lasers, still results in a very small and uneven exposure area.
Laser comb core design: More and more laser comb products are appearing on the market, most cleverly advertise 5mW power output, or even multiple 5mW laser modules or single 10-25mW laser modules or a total of 45mW or more. However, how this laser energy is distributed is just as important than the total laser power. On one side of the spectrum many of the cheaper products have NO dispersion method included in their design. Meaning they simply install laser modules that give little actual coverage of your scalp. On the other side of the spectrum, other designs use either plastic mirrors, plastic lens or plastic fibre optics to disperse single laser beams into smaller parts - resulting in over all low power per centimetre and a measurable loss of power in the splitting and refraction process. This is very simple to calculate, for example a design using a single 5mW module dispersed over 10cm with plastic light pipes has a maximum laser power output of 0.5mW per centimetre i.e. next to useless. A product like this may be advertised at 5mW, but this means TOTAL POWER, not what actually reaches your scalp per centimetre. Typically this method also results in wildly uneven laser power distribution. This is a generous calculation as it does not take into account the typical 30% loss of power in refracting and reflecting laser beams. Aculas laser products use digital laser scattering modules as explained above. These modules, although extremely expensive for us to use, provide even and consistent scattering of the laser energy. Actually, the provide EXACT distribution. Digital laser scattering modules are the only efficient and reliable way to uniformly scatter laser energy. The use of mirrors, lens and other plastic fibre optics, although significantly less expensive, results in loss of power and uneven distribution. Again, we can prove this as laser combs using plastic mirrors have outputs between 0.5-4mW per beam. Some brands have one single a 1, 2 or 5mW laser spread over a larger surface, resulting in extremely low over all power and exposure. The picture above shows the TOTAL exposure area covered by the Aculas laser system. Other laser combs, laser brushes and even devices with 50 spot focus laser modules often only treat several INCHES at a time.
Batteries or Mains Power?: 2x AA batteries do not last long in toys, battery laptops and large and heavy and last only around 60 minutes. A couple of rechargeable batteries can not possibly power a medical quality devices for much longer than a few minutes a full power. Our Aculas Hair Loss Laser is supplied with a universal 90-260v power supply that can be used all over the world with a simple travel adapter to convert the plug.

NOTE: Beware of cheaper products that may claim to contain 3, 5, 6 or even 9 "laser beams." Many only contain 1 laser module and use fibre optics, plastic mirrors or lens to split 1 LASER BEAM into multiple smaller lights. We do not consider splitting 1 laser beam with plastic fibre optics to be a justified claim to containing multiple laser beams. This results in uneven and sometimes extremely low power distribution. You get exactly what you pay for with LLLT technology. Products for the treatment of hair loss We offer a variety of products for treatment of hair loss.
